A variety of Phoenix Dancong Oolong tea, renowned for its distinctive aroma and profound tea character. It is said to have acquired its unusual name because the tea trees were planted in yellow soil locally referred to as “Duck Shit Soil.” Another legend suggests that, because of the tea’s rich fragrance and excellent flavor, tea growers deliberately claimed that it tasted like “duck shit” to discourage others from stealing the leaves.
The leaves are tightly twisted with visible stems. The tea liquor is clear and luminous, with an amber-brown hue. It exudes distinctive woody notes complemented by a rich charcoal-roasted aroma. Smooth and rounded on the palate, it finishes with a lingering sweetness and subtle charcoal notes, followed by a long, persistent aftertaste.
