Red Oolong Tea

Red Oolong is a specialty tea produced in Luye Township, Taitung, Taiwan. Its defining characteristic is a high degree of fermentation that approaches that of black tea, while still retaining the traditional processing methods of oolong tea—hence the name "Red Oolong." The tea leaves are tightly rolled into hemispherical spheres, brewing into a clear, amber-red liquor. Its aroma beautifully combines the ripe fruit notes of black tea with the sweet, honey-like fragrance of oolong tea, offering a smooth, mellow, and sweet, lingering aftertaste.
